PRO/AM FIREBIRD

1989 PONTIAC FIREBIRD PRO/AM

Alright, I've owned this car for over 2 years and I put about 15k miles on it.

Things that have happened since than. (This is a long list).

Re-built the 305 heads, Re-built the TBI with new injectors and regulator.

New water pump, new hoses, new radiator, new transmission cooler, new fan motor, new airdam.

New alternator, new distributor, new cap and rotor, new wires, new HI-6s Ignition box with Revv limiter and you can get a timing retard (for boost) for it too.

New fuel pump, new filter, new sensors (IAC, TPS, CTS, MAP) New vacum lines, new fuel pump relay.

Headers, pacessetters street legal with air tubes. High flow cat (gutted now), flowmaster muffler.

Stage 2 TBI chips.com chip (really makes the difference)

AC delete box, new heater core, new crane ignition coil.

New bosch battery.

There is still more stuff, but I cant remember it all.

INTERIOR

New black carpet. Fourth gen camaro SS power seats leather. Rear set delete. (Still working on fabricating something for it.) The power set works great too.

White faced gauges (reverse glow). Sweet Dual stereo with atuomated faceplate.

Re-painted the gray interior black. (need to touch it up a bit more).

New speakers on the sides. 550Watt amp 250RMS. 2 12inch subs in the back. Once you close the hatch the whole car shakes.

Two overhead consoles, one I use everyday (kinda butchered) and one I am making into a really nice one!

Red and black vynil side door panels with black arm rests. Different shifter (not put in by me).

Grant wheel, but no horn. Everything is power and it works. Windows, remote release hatch etc. However, the mirrors although power are not working, and one is missing.

EXTERIOR

The red is holding up pretty well. I just had it buffed and it looks like new. Amazing what NXT can do for you.

I have a 91 TA bumper on it, and I had to remove the front low impact plastic. I still have it though. Its a white bumper, but I liked it so I put it on.

Prime mag wheels. With new tires. These were pretty dang expensive.

Pro/am double bulge hood. Rare at the least.

3.23 rear POSI disc end.

I would rate the outside 8 out of 10.

Things that the car needs.

Either re-paint the bumper or put the stock butchered one on. New headliner since mine got thrown away by mistake. Rear left caliper is siezied shut, so its braking all the time. Not to big of a problem but it will need the caliper and rotor replaced. The HI-6S ignition has a little bit of noise going on due to me extending the wires. This needs to be addressed, but its really not a problem. Right now its hard to do the burnout since the rear caliper is really hodling that wheel when you brake.

I also have a bottom end 350 that has been re-built that you can have if you purchase the car.

So far this is all I can remember.

Oh yea, the front brakes are brand new with new rotor too.

laters.

Listing Site Updates

Under one of these subheadings, it’s a good idea to list recent updates to my site so that visitors, especially return visitors, can check out the new stuff first. For example, I could list the date and a brief description of the update:

7/16/00   Added pictures of my vacation to the Photo page.
6/25/00   Updated the team schedule for the fall 200 season.
5/30/00   Added information about a new product my business offers.

I could also list updated news about my site’s topic. For example, if my site were about a particular sport, I’d could discuss the outcome of a recent competition.

Notifying Visitors of Site Enhancements

Another idea for my home page’s text is notifying visitors about the enhancements I put on my site. For example, I want visitors to sign my guestbook or fill out my survey Form E-mailer to answer questions about my site, my business, or my site’s topic.

Getting Rich Quick—From My Site!

I might not want a large amount of text on my home page if I want to guide visitors toward my other pages. Instead of text, I can add others’ buttons to this first page, and I’ll be rewarded for people who click on the buttons. For example, if a visitor signs up for a Visa using the NextCard button on my site, I earn at least !
